I liked the way his head/neck twist caught the morning light, giving a bit of studio look. Another from Botswana.

Like the painterly look of this Bill and the different pose of the Heron

Really cool one Bill. This bird really pops off the screen here. Good details and head pose, and a cool perch. No nits from me. TFS

Yes, Bill, another beauty. The light and pose make this for me. It's almost as though you were in the studio and had fill lights on the left. Lovely detail, perch and background. Another that would be hard to improve on.

Hi Bill, great pose here, and really sharp too. The Squacco pops so well against the darker BG. You have nailed everything here.

Wow Bill! I think this is your best image from the trip so far.
Love the light, pose and BG. IQ rocks.
Only suggestion I can make is to take a bit off the top.
    Excellent image,
    Gail

Wonderful image, about as perfect as it gets. Love the bird, the perch and the background. Techs spot on. Thank you for sharing, Bill.

Beautiful morning light, Bill. Great detail, and nice smooth BG. I agree with taking a bit off the top. Well done.

Quality shot here Bill, I really like the light and the pose the bird has give you, the little flaring of the feathers just finishes things off nicely
