    I took this yesterday and returned today hoping for less tricky lighting but they had disappeared.... by way of compensation I got some brent geese.

    Neat how you caught the prey mid bill. Exposure looks good as does the detail.

    The action of the catch always makes a good image even better and this one has done that. Well done for the light conditions you had

    Wow, getting the prey in 'mid air' is very sweet, Jon. While the light may have been tricky, I think you've handled it fairly well. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Jon, well timed for the feeding behaviour here, and I like the green sheen on the head. Comp wise, I would take at least half off the bottom.
