    Local eagle leaving perch to hunt for pair of eaglets.
    D300, 400 f2.8 afs, 1.4tc, f5.6, 1/1600, iso200. Canvas extended in front of bird.

    Nice leap of faith and COMP. Some flash and more + compensation would have yieled more detail in the blacks.

    Great take-off pose and perch. Did you use exposure compensation? I agree that the bird could be a bit brighter.
