    Hello Arash,
I am so happy to see you posting more shorebirds these days! I like this a lot, the mud clenched in the foot is really nice. The exposure is smack on and "highlights" the many colors of this predominantly black and white bird. Nice punch of contrast against the flat BG. I would clone out the four insignificant small "drops" or "specks" in the bottom of the frame. Well done !

Nice. And sharp. Is this a crop or did you move the AF point down? Did you use Group (grp)? I see no specks :(

Lovely flight pose, great color, and of course your usual great techs. I love the feet.

Well done Arash, glad you got a great Skimmer shot we had a horrible Skimmer season down here. Welcome to the dark side. Do you think the D850 would have been too noisy compared to the D5 at that ISO?

Excellent flight angle and wing position, Arash. I'm always impressed with the superb detail and rendering of feathers in your shots and especially apparent under the closer wing and more subtly on the bird's body. So much to like about the background in this one too, both the colour and the soft ripples/waves at the bottom. If Ann hadn't pointed out the spots, I wouldn't have noticed. Handheld at 840mm is also pretty remarkable.

Nice in flight shot of one of my favorite birds. Love the clenched feet with mud on them. Nice BG and open mouth. TFS

thanks Artie, those are water drops (dust won't be visible at f/5.6)

I used group AF, the image has been cropped to place the skimmer off center.
