Last year ten days later than the present date at Circle B Bar Reserve all of the water holes were drying up because of a long winter drought. The existing pools were attracting wading birds because of the concentration of fish and crustaceans. I was there before sunrise as the birds literally dropped out of the sky. Too dark to capture a normal exposure so I captured blurs (thank you Artie for the description of how to do it in your educational material). This is a Roseate Spoonbill landing to feed in the small pool of water. I previously have posted this image in the forum Out of The Box, receiving no comments or critique so I am posting here hoping for better results. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

I think this looks really cool Joe. As I have stated I am not a blur kind of guy but this is artistic with beautiful colors and looks like a water color painting. I really like it and could see a shot like this looking great on the wall. On my screen (not sure how others will see it) there is a very odd area just to the left of the birds right wing (our left) that looks like it was cloned or maybe is just some sort of compression posterization. It is very apparent but only in that one spot. It has a green and pink s shaped curved lines. If you don't see it then don't worry about it. I checked my phone and I can see the same thing in that area in the upper left corner as well.

Great to see this Joe and I like it a lot too. The pastel colours and softness work well together with just enough to figure out there is a bird there and what it is doing. I can see the funny business going on next to the wing also but it might just be a weird blur. Either way, I'd think about some minor tidying there. Very refreshing and visually interesting image.
I think the pastel colors are beautiful. Very artsy and would appeal to a lot of non-birders.
I like the diagonal lines created in the BG and agree a little clean up of sharp edge by the wing will help.
Really nice Joe.
Would look nice as a print I am sure,
