Captured this African Fish-Eagle one late afternoon perched appropriately for this months high key theme. C&C welcome.

Sweet looking eagle. The composition is nice here. Nice pose on the bird as well.

A nice eagle, but to me the edges of the head come too close to the high key background. Could you maybe work a bit more detail into the top of the head and also unblock some of the darker body feathers? If the framing is left as is, I'd consider taking out the smaller branches. A vertical crop has some potential, but I like all the negative space as you've framed it.

Thanks John. On my monitor there is a subtle separation between the high key BG and the white feathers on top of his head. I did work on that area a bit, and it did seem to lighten up after I posted it. This for the suggestions.
