One early morning sunrise found us next to a rather large anthill last month in southern Africa, with a Swanson's Spurfowl about midway up. I captured him with a few head turns as he posed nicely. Lifer for me. C&C welcome.

Nice light and good head turn on this guy. His spurs show nicely. This was one of the few times that we had good early morning light, and you capitalized nicely. Were it mine I would run just a slight blur on the bg to remove the blotchiness, but I know that many are opposed to that.
Perfect head turn here. Nice light too. Before reading Bill's comment I was going to have suggested photographing with a wide-open aperture to better blur the BG.
Hi Geoff, my favourite Spur Fowl of them all. Super pose, nicely in the open, as they are normally scurrying through the grasses. Good feather detail too.
