    I love photographing "non-winter" birds in snow! I love the foot on the perch, good focus, nice grey BG. I do find the blacks a bit too dark, I'd lift them if mine, being careful not to have them too light as an end result. Not used to seeing one on a lichen-covered perch, it would be neat to go pluck a cattail out of a marsh somewhere and use that too in your setup for these guys.

    Pretty cool! I've never seen a blackbird in the snow before. I agree that lifting the blacks just slightly would help. Love the bit of red that really pops in this setting. TFS
