Can't imagine these remarkable looking birds have changed much in the millions of years they've evolved. Equally as amazing is the gigantic house/nest they construct. It is well worth looking up and reading about this unique bird. Lifer for me. C&C welcome.

Hi Geoff, you have captured a classic pose showing off the shape of his head. You have also brought out the feather detail nicely, and overall, nice and sharp. I wish there was a more ripples in the water in the URC, as that area is a tad bright with no detail.

This shows what a crazy profile these birds have when their crests are raised. Good detail.

Nice image Geoff! I might warm the image up a bit.
    Nice view of the crest,

Thats a cool bird Geoffrey, classic pose of the namesake! That beak looks like it could do some damage. TFS

Man, those are some big wingtip feathers! The log behind the legs is bad luck, but I like the bits of greenery and what appears to be running water in lower right corner. Great shape to this bird.

A classic African bird, a perfect pose, Geoffrey. Detail is excellent but would look at the lighting adjustments on this one again as the bird looks a touch thin and the background quite bright. I'd also take a bit off the left of the frame.
