Can't imagine these remarkable looking birds have changed much in the millions of years they've evolved. Equally as amazing is the gigantic house/nest they construct. It is well worth looking up and reading about this unique bird. Lifer for me. C&C welcome.

Hi Geoff, you have captured a classic pose showing off the shape of his head. You have also brought out the feather detail nicely, and overall, nice and sharp. I wish there was a more ripples in the water in the URC, as that area is a tad bright with no detail.
Man, those are some big wingtip feathers! The log behind the legs is bad luck, but I like the bits of greenery and what appears to be running water in lower right corner. Great shape to this bird.
A classic African bird, a perfect pose, Geoffrey. Detail is excellent but would look at the lighting adjustments on this one again as the bird looks a touch thin and the background quite bright. I'd also take a bit off the left of the frame.
