He looks as if he has just been electrocuted, but this was just a warm up before flight... more to follow.
Taken in Kruger Park, I guess we would all wish there was some foliage on the LHS and at the base, I was tempted but decided that I would post images as much as possible as they were in reality. Taken on a dull cloudy morning, all comments welcome, if ID incorrect please let me know!

That's awesome. I love the puffed out feathers and the pose.

Jonathan, if you have the room I think this would benefit from a tighter vertical crop. Very unique display.

Very cool. Looks great for ISO 4000. I have never seen a bird like this or do this so i find it very neat.

Great pose Jonathan! Love that ruffled look. I would crop out 50% from the RHS of the first image but other than that, spot on!

I absolutely love the pose and the ruffled feathers. This one made me smile!
I like the vertical comp and the IQ seems to be holding. My favorite comp would be starting with the OP and taking a bunch off the top and some off the LHS.
Too bad you couldn't get closer,

Super cool pose you have here. Looks like you got em mid shake. I prefer the vertical version. It does look to be too much of a crop though and I don't think the IQ has held up. Bird looks too noisy and I don't think has the same level of fine feather details I am used to on your shots. I think it was just too far away and there was nothing you could really do about that.
