Captured this pair of Woodland Kingfisher in Botswana. They are extremely vocal when greeting one another. C&C welcome.

I think this is a good attempt at a 2 bird frame, but the bottom bird looking away hurts it, particularly as that is
the sharper subject. Woody perch in fantastic as helps redeem the birds a bit.

    Hi Geoffrey,

Wow what great looking kingfishers! I like the perch, the two birds, and the BG. Just wished for the head turn... TFS

These are the noisiest, prettiest KF's!
Always great to get 2 birds in the same frame but the far bird is a bit out of focus (DOF issue). You guys got killer bg's in Botswana.
Love the perch and the colors.
I bet you have images with only 1 of the birds- please show it!!

Hi Geoffrey, great to see you and Bill had a wonderful adventure in Africa. I echo the previous comments. Thank you for sharing.

What stunningly nice birds and great perch too, Geoffrey. Shame about the limited DOF. Always easy to say after the event though! I'd still be very happy if this was mine and you've made me realise how much I missed on my trip there last year.
