    This is one of a number of Striped Kingfisher captures from Botswana. C&C welcome.

    D500, Sigma 150-600mm C @ 310mm, 1/2500s, f 5.6, HH, ISO 2500.

    This would do nicely for the theme Geoffrey! Just edit the header.
    Love the textured perch and great HA. I also like the hint of blue on the top of the tail and wing tip.
    Also very nice is the windblown feathers on the crown of the head.

    Nice high key kingfisher here. Good pose on the bird and i like the perch.
