Hi John -- That is an unusual outcome, totally in the face !! Loved those eyes and eye contact . Would have liked that snout in ficus as well but then the appeal of the eyes would not have been the same , also not sure if that was possible considering how close this might have been. Enjoyed viewing this one !

Love the colours and detail where in focus. Are these guys obliging, I mean would it be practicable to make a stacked image?????

Nice to see you experimenting, have you thought of sharing this in the Macro Forum as well?
Looking forward to more from you,
Thanks Gabriela,
I wanted to see if i could get a sharp image at a slow shutter speed. Also wanted the focus just on the eyes.
I posted this in the macro forum right after i took it several months ago. Not too many people hang out there. Thought more people would see it here.

Thanks Jonathan,
It wouldn't be possible to do a stacked image. The snapper is slightly moving the whole time.

Hi John - Those eyes are incredible and the colors look good. I think I would also prefer more dof but wonder from your post above how much of the oof snout is also due to movement of the turtle. If it were mine I would tone down the brighter whites on the back of the turtle.

Rachel
