    What a great little bird, John. I like the falling snow and alert pose. If mine, I'd tone down the highlights on the rump a little more. Otherwise, hard to fault anything here.

    John - That's a beautiful little subject! I love the simplicity of the image design; nice detail (love the little white specs around the eye); and of course I love that snowfall! I wish we had snow down here in Florida (more than once every 50 years :) )

    I like the pose and soft light but it is the falling snow that really makes this image for me.

    Love the falling snow and the clean BG. Pose on the bird looks good. I like the character on the perch but it might be a little large, but not a huge deal. TFS

    This is really pretty. Simple composition and it all works really well for me. Falling snow is very nice. You need to bump up the black and mid tones a little. The bird looks a touch thin and more pale then any female Purple I have seen. I think adding a little black to it would deepen the colors and make it just right.
