    This forest kingfisher migrates during summer to breed at our moist deciduous foothill forest of the Himalaya,shot in diffused light through canopy leaves last monsoon,about 50% crop,few out of focus leaves in bg were cloned out,shot with Canon 7DII,700mm,f6.3,1/250s,ISO 1250.

    Nice to see yet another KF species; this one from Asia. Good head-turn, forest green bg, and prey. Thanks for sharing one that I'm not familiar with.

    Wow, this is pretty nice. You've done very well at a fairly low SS in poor light to get such nice detail. The background is excellent, perch great, pose as good as perfect - and all handled nicely in processing to give a pleasing colour and tonal range.
