A portrait of a Sea Lion as it emerges from the waters. Looks like an RF tag to its right flipper.

Hi Sanjeev - I really like the in your face feel of this. The tag is not ideal but not a deal breaker by any means. I would prefer a sliver more room to the left. I would consider taming the bright area on the left side of the back as viewed if it were mine.

    TFS,
    Rachel

    Hello Sanjeev,

This chap gave you quite a look (love the eye contact BTW) and some "attitude" - well seen and captured, nice timing!

I especially like the warmth and tonality here. As well as the fine detail on the muzzle and whiskers, that little "stubborn" lip too

Agree with Rachel above, frame is a bit tight on the LHS and small tag not ideal. But the POV truly makes this image for me, it helps create this "larger than life" look and adds impact and interest to the scene overall.

Good thinking here Sanjeev, I am liking this, a lot.

Thank you so much for sharing,

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Your sea lion shots have been a delight to see, Sanjeev. This one is no exception. The head detail and light in this one really make it for me. I also love the colours on the front and the great texture and sheen on the left side of the animal (as viewed). As for composition, I'd have said a touch more on the right. The left looks fine to me. Everyone is different, I guess!
