    Not tool long ago I posted a similar portrait of the male Pintail, here now is the female that was following him around that day.

    Canon 7DII + +500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/2500s., f/8, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, FF, darkened the pupil.

    Just beautiful, no nits from me! I like the slight gradient from white to light gray, so the fact that it's not quite high key isn't a problem as far as I'm concerned. I wish we'd had some of these guys around here this winter! The feather detail is excellent as well.

    This is nice Daniel.
    I really like your crop and the BG is really nice- the way it transitions from gray to white.
