    Default Warm fall wood duck

This image was captured a number of years ago in Cleveland, but never posted. I have been thinking about the venue, as it is now a pale shadow of its former glory, and I haven't been there for several years.

    D700 600VR with TC14II, f/7.1 1/800s ISO 640 SB800 with better beamer

Post; cropped for comp, removed second catchlight. Warmed the color temp. of the image to play up the fall colors. Softened the reflection, which was very distorted because of the low shooting angle

    Advice and comments always appreciated.

This is really nice Randy. The water color is what makes this shot.
Nice incoming pose and the exposure is spot on.
Minor housekeeping issue would be to clone out the specular highlight in the riplpe of water to the left and below the wood duck.
    Your PP looks good,
    Gail

They are beautiful ducks. Great shot with fantastic color on the calm water.

Very nice pose and beautiful colors from this handsome drake. Perfect light angle. The water color really showcases this guy well. Looks like critical focus landed just behind the head and I find the head just a little soft, especially the eye. A perfect candidate for selecting only the head and sharpening it some more. Well done
