    I take this photo with Canon 7DmII+Canon 400mm f/5.6 (handheld, with AV mode and auto focus) in Shahrekord-Iran.

    Nice interaction and always good to have both birds in focus and with good head angles. Beautiful light. I would increase the brightness a little which should help get a little more detail out of the blacks. I would also decrease the saturation of the blues in the water a little.

    Beautiful background and detail in the subjects. I would lighten the faces of both birds, but especially the one on the left, as the light is not hitting him as squarely as the bird on the right. You could also add a catch-light if your morals permit it :)

    All in all, the details are tack sharp and the pose is immediately eye-catching. Excellent shot!

    Low angle is nice. Nice to see the coots interacting with one another.

    love the Low angle, warm light and the nice tiered BG here. nice interaction too, a fraction of a second earlier when and if the wings were fully stretched out would have been ideal.
