I was more than happy to see this one swim by, diving, and feeding near to me. They are usually difficult to get close to, in my part of the world. From my hide on the side of the loch..

    Will:

Great shooting angle, like the drops, esp. the series running down the edge of the breast.

A little bit tight in the frame if you have some more room on the right.

He seems to need a bit of CW rotation.

    Cheers

    Great POV and perfect HA.
I like the gold water and the water drops on the duck. He just has a wisp of his tuft showing- did he show off a bit more in other photos?
The blacks seem to have a magenta/purple cast to them -I would go to selective coloring and go to the blacks and reduce the magenta by 1 point and add 1 point of black. The last observation could be due also be different monitors.
    Very nice image,
    Gail

Wonderful image Will. High IQ, eye level pov and great light. The water drops on the feathers add to the image.

nicer low angle and light Bill, the repost is better but still has a bit magenta cast. Details look a bit coarse or crunchy to my eye with some noise , most likely from the processing
