Awesome - someone will probably have a way but I don't know how it could be improved on. Love the complimentary colors in the bark and the Leopard coat. The leopards eye jumps off my screen. tfs

Hi Marc - Wow, he really blends in. I'm not sure I've ever seen an image with a leopard in such a thick sycamore fig trunk. Only thing I would do is apply a little more sharpening to the head. For some reason it looks a little soft compared to the bark.

    TFS,
    Rachel

It's certainly not a tree you see leopards frequent due to the texture/structure of it's bark and all the various insects it inhabits due to the fruit/figs. There's rarely a nice smooth surface for a leopard to lay across.

Hi Marc -- That is an unsual place for a leopard to hide. Loved the colours and the placement of the subject in the frame. I too would like some more sharpening on the Leopard. Must have been a lovely sighting and experience .

    TFS !

Excellent image with lovely subject in nice unusual habitat. I like the comp here a lot Marc, and that IQ seems to hold up well due to that amazing camera body despite the crop.
