An owl that I photographed last week. For the illumination I used a led ligth.

    Hi Guiseppe,
Can you please post your EXIF data such as ISO, SS and aperture?
Lens and camera type? This info helps us all to critique your image.
Lovely subject. My eye immediately went to the white circles on the RHS of frame. I would clone these out or just crop from the right hand side to eliminate them.
I really like the clear view of the talons and the nice head turn.
You have some posterization in the nice BG and I would run a gaussian blur on this or reduce tonal contrast on the BG only,
    Gail

Agree that you've go some room to crop a bit tighter and get rid of the white spots. BG isn't perfectly smooth
but the lighting directly on the birds does make for a dramatic effect.

Sweet little fluffy owl. Like the composition and the pose on the owl.

welcome to BPN and excellent first post! love this little against dark BG and the perch he is on. Sharp with good details and excellent light! I only wish the owls' face was perfectly parallel to the back of the camera. Please include EXIF as well for critique
