    That is a great perspective of this cardinal eating. Details and the open mouth look very nice. I do find the background a little distracting but maybe if you toned the whites and blues down a little while increasing the exposure on the Cardinal a bit you could soften that. I can see some noise in the undertail and would run some NR there.

    Hi Jay, I like this image as well, the bold colors, and if you were to soften the BG and clean up the noise in the tail, it could only be better!

    Hi Jay,

    I tried to even out the exposure and tone down the bold REDs, first with my NIK 40-40 Tonal Contrast/Detail Extractor and then by adding 80 points of CYAN to the REDs in Selective Color ...
