    nice dynamic pose Joel, looks like the critical focus point was on the shoulder leaving the head a bit soft. sharpening the head selectively might help if it is not too soft . Also would put more room on top and bottom, looks like you had fun with the anhingas!

    Nice take off pose here and I like the water droplets. I agree re the head being a bit soft. Their heads are so tiny and their necks so long and lanky that It is really difficult to isolate focus. Especially so when you have the bird flying mostly at you like this. Hopefully a bit of selective sharpening will help.

    Hi Jay, love the V formed by the wings, and well done on locking onto this fellow. Another vote for more space top and bottom.

    Great v shape the bird forms here. Agree with more room below and some sharpening on the head.
