    Hi all,

In March I announced I'd be away from BPN for a while as I was selected to particpate in the ICF Pro Tour 2008. What a challenge that was!!!! After a great introduction with the US wildlife I spend a couple of weeks to make it to the deadline of the competition. And now that everything is submitted I'm preparing for another adventure...my arctic fox series will be continued soon as I'll be heading for the arctic once more. Hopefully I'll have some oppertunities again to photograph arctic terns and fullmars on the ice. So I'll be out a little longer than I expected. I hope to be around more often near the end of summer.

    All the best!!!

(This image is from last year, using a Canon EOS1Dmk2N, Canon EF300/2.8L USM + EF20II, 1/640 @ f/8.0, ISO250, Gitzo tripod, Angle finder)

I remember this one, excellent shot with an awesome BG IMO showing a bit more environment but still blurred enough to make the bird pop. With the great detail, nice light and cool pose this is an excellent shot! Nice to see you back here man!

Spectacular image Jasper! Beautiful BG colors that make the bird really pop. Great pose, exposure, and sharpness. Love the low angle too. Just out of curiosity, what is the ICF Pro Tour?

Like everything about this but the one big rock behind the bird and the other near the tail. Best of luck till then.
