It is a lovely image Allen. The beautiful background colors compliments the Junco. Pose, perch and feather detail all look good. You could raise the brightness on the Junco just a bit but no big deal. tfs

Very nice to get a junco up on a perch. Lovely BG.
I would select the bird and raise the brightness by +10.
I could also see a version with the bottom layer of white filled in with the lovely blue.
Great IQ and lovely head turn.
    Very nice Allen

Nice pose on the bird with a nice perch and a good background.

Love the background and perch. Nice sharp image. My only quibble is the reflections in the eye don't do much for me.

Not a bird I've ever seen, so tough to comment on the brightness. However, there is loads of detail, a nice pose and a great complementary BG - all in all a very nice shot

I like the pose, details, sharpness and composition wise I would have more canvas on our left and decrease by the same amount on the other side, but that is personal preference.

Yes, lifting the midtones, and perhaps also warming up the WB would improve on this otherwise beautiful image of one of my favorite local "winter birds".

Thanks everyone for the comments and suggestions. I played around with the brightness of the bird. In the end, I decided to just lighten the head. Here is a repost.
