In March I announced I'd be away from BPN for a while as I was selected to particpate in the ICF Pro Tour 2008. What a challenge that was!!!! After a great introduction with the US wildlife I spend a couple of weeks to make it to the deadline of the competition. And now that everything is submitted I'm preparing for another adventure...my arctic fox series will be continued soon as I'll be heading for the arctic once more. So I'll be out a little longer than I expected. I hope to be around more often near the end of summer.
All the best!!!

Lovely shot my friend! The raised foot and focussed look make this one for me. Would have wished for a slightly better light angle. Otherwise a really fine shot, wished I had the money to come with you this year!!!! See you next week! :)
A beautiful photo. The color and detail are great and the sense of a moment caught mid-action is outstanding. A definite favorite. I don't mind the light angle. It adds to the dimensional look. Great depth control on this photo. There's a small spot on the right side at the edge of the fur that I might clone out.
I wish this photo were mine.
I love this one. Nice action and background colour is nice as well. The low angle of the shot gives a different feel to the image. All the best for your trip.
Jasper, you can't see my face but it's turning green with envy at your Arctic journey. :D
Best of luck, and if we can't go with you, at least we can look at some of the pictures when you get back. This one is excellent for all the reasons already mentioned. The light angle doesn't bother me at all. The off eye has still caught some light, and the shadows add a bit of mystery for me.
