    This trumpeter is another leucistic individual from last Sunday. It was a dull overcast sky at that time, so went high key, which I think works well with this bird, and highlights those amazing feet. You can also see the variation in coloration on the bill. In a close up, often can see red tones mixed with the white and black of the bill.

    D500 150-600 Sigma Pro 150mm 1/5000s, f/5.0

    Small crop for comp.

    Thats a first for me! I like this, very artistic comp and interesting all around. Exposure and high key works great here, and love those big feet!

    Great work, Randy. White on white, not easy to control. Exposure looks perfect. Beautiful bird, interestingly shown. Thank you for sharing.
