    Default Little Bee-eater with Prey

From Duma Tau, Botswana. I captured 28 frames of this sequence showing the struggle between this Little Bee-eater and the Dragonfly. This was near the end of the sequence and had the best HA for the dragonfly. Sure, I would have liked to have the sun at my back, but I wasn't about to trash it because of the side-lighting. Cropped to about 50% of full-width. Removed a few branches.

A nice image with an impressive big dragonfly and you got it in a fine position. Like the clean background.

Super action here Bill with a perfect head angle and toss of the prey. Nice background as well. You have some obvious clone marks on the left edge of the perch just after that little twig. Also the bird looks too crunchy to me and the whole pic would benefit from lifting the exposure.

No issues with the side lighting from me Bill, its a dramatic shot and the lighting only adds to that. Great timing with the unfortunate dragonfly. I might consider lifting the shadows just on the darker part of the branch,

    Hi Bill,
I like the perch curving through the frame and action captured is great. The lighting is fine with me. Agree with Isaac that the bird seems to have a slight crunchy look.

Great action against a nice BG. I love the color of these birds. I also find it a bit crunchy. I really like the catchlight in the eye as well. TFS

Great action shot but agree with the others re: brightness and crunchiness and tidying up cloning marks.
Definitely worth a redo in PP.
