    Hi Sasan,
That's an absolutely spectacular image that perfectly characterizes the kestrel. Superb lighting, great head angle, and a spot-on peak of action frame with the wings spread, superb sharpness on the head and body, with just the right suggestion of movement in the wingtips to give the image a real dynamic edge. I also like the inclusion of the equally well-lit perch bush, and the band of warm light in the background from the wheat farm, the color of which nicely harmonizes with the bird and perch. For me this is the type of image we all aspire to, well done!
    Cheers,
    David

Wow - Beautiful light, colors, background, subject, perch, head angle, pose, composition, exposure, focus... all working together in this one

A stunning image with beautiful colors, light and clean background. Great wing position, head angle and sharpness. I would have liked the kestrel to be clear from the bush though.

Really nice colors, pose and image quality. Background is fantastic. I do agree that it is unfortunate that it was not clear of the bush and that you have so much of it in front of the bird.

A beautiful image! You are killing these kestrel shots Sasan!
I love the light and the pose and the little bush doesn't bother me at all.
I feel it gives it an environmental context and shows how it is in real life.
If mine, I would clean up the LH edge where a few tips of branches are just visible.
    The layered BG is awesome,
    Gail

An absolutely wonderful image, Sasan. Beautiful launch position with great detail. The delicate perch adds to the image, and the background, and light is perfect.

I like the slightly colored BG, the great IQ, fly off pose and the vegetation. Nice work!

Very nice shot Sasan, I like the wing span and the colors, and I actually like the bushes too. My one wish, in a perfect world, would have been that the kestrel's head turned a tiny bit toward us
