I love these types of images, and this one is no exception. Good job on the silhouette rendering. I lover the BG with those soft specular highlights. If anything I'd probably add touch more vibrance to the colour, but this is really nicely IMO.

Well done John, the BG is sweet with the specular pattern and warm tones. The slit in the bill is wonderful, anyone know the name of it? must have a name i'm thinking, and i wonder bout the purpose, expelling water?... doing a search now! TFS I really like this one.

Nice silhouette John. I like the colors in the BG and those specular highlights in the water as Daniel said. I think the crop choice works.
