    great composition and the bird looks sharp everywhere, f/8 was a good call

    I like the composition and the snow just adds to it. Nice sharp focus.

    Hi John, I liked the angled pose here, and you have brought out the finer plumage detail nicely. I like how the perch meanders through the frame, and the bits of litchen add to it too. I feel the falling snow really gives this a perfect winter feel to the image.

    Lovely image, John. One of the best I have seen of a Cardinal. The falling snow adds so much to the wintery feel complimented by the perch and lichens. Thank you for sharing.

    Super clean image of this brilliant bird. Lichens and snow are nice touches as well.
