Another image of the female northern harrier, I rarely see these birds roasted and up close. Hope you like this one

Glad you don't see them roasted too often Arash!!
Fine detail rich colours, an unusual shot well caught.
She's a beauty Arash, fab small details: nose/eye feathers, and the fringe on the feathers. Wonderful work
Very nice. I really like the contrast and detail on the bird. Sweet BG and perch. I may add a little more sharpening to the bird.

Hi Arash,
All looks great to me. Wonderful tones on the bird. Nice perch and BG.

Another killer harrier frame. Really good field craft to get this close. As Ann said I love all the little details especially on the edges of the feathers -- something I haven't seen before. Catchlight is nice. TFS
Despite not being a flight shot I much prefer this to the last as there appears (on my screen anyway) to be more detail. The little black feathers on the beak all make sense now!
Lovely light, great shooting angle
Mike
Hi Mike this one is a close up and the other one was a flight frame, both tack sharp. Not sure what you were looking at before. This is closeup BTW, which means it has more details than a flight shot. You cannot make a flight shot at this distance as you will clip 50% of the bird
