    I like the dark BG, sharpness and composition. I would consider a little more NR to the BG. You have a dust bunny if front of the gull near the edge of the frame. Nice image John.

    Hi John,
    I like this with the gull popping against the dark BG. Nice exposure and particularly like the detail in the underside of the wing. Nice frame.

    I'm liking the contrast between subject and background with what looks like end of day light on the bird. I could see a little more NR on background and maybe a little extra sharpening on the eye. Great shot.
