This past summer I saw this Green Heron nab what seemed to be a snail or tadpole. In any event, the morsel wasn't to his liking and he dropped it in favor of hunting fish.
Good shooting angle, action, exposure. Perhaps a sliver tight on the left hand side, but because he is focused down towards the water, less of an issue.
It is too bad the reflection isn't better, but with the vegetation and the shooting angle, wasn't going to be possible.
Great timing with the strike, I agree with a little more room pin the left if you have it. It looks a tad dark on my screen as well, maybe this was how the light was on the day though
