Good Lord! What's happened to this forum?? I made this yesterday - I've had these peacock feathers for some time, and I decided to try and make an image or two. I kind of liked this one..

    P.S - Nonda - I've got a few beauties (first efforts) to post :D

    Nonda,

I knew someone would bring up the shadow - I've got some others I made on the MKIII, but haven't had a chance to look at those yet. You've got quite the thread going with the early mistakes - Great idea - everyone can relate;) Lord knows I've got a bunch:D

I've been really busy at work for the last couple of weeks - really need to get better at making images so I can junk this job and supplement my retirement!!

The texture is very interesting, at first I thought it was silk embroidery. Really lovely.

Love it Bruce !!!! Just need one ingredient ...... soft light !!! You got it all there !!! .... btw excellent placement for the eye, since it is the prominent feature you treated it like a small bird in frame !!! Big Congrats ..... now go out and buy a diffuser !!! :)
