    Default Theme: cathedral snow geese

I was standing in the marsh outside the dyke as the geese came in to land on the dyke roadway in search of gravel , thus putting them at eye level for me at about 40 yds. Canon 7DII, Sigma 150mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM APO Macro, ISO640, f/7.1, 1/1250Name: Cathedral wavies pair.jpg

Obviously the draw is the duplicate action. Very nice grab. Wish the shadows weren't so heavy. Thanks for sharing.

What a great capture. You were definitely in the right spot at the right time. I’m not sure whether I’m seeing the whole frame. Are the geese closer to the right edge?

The image held up quite well for what I am guessing is a fairly large crop.
Would like to view at 1,920 pixels wide though.

Bummer about the curved vegetation at the bottom of the frame. :(

Love the synchronised landing poses. Well done! :)

    Love the "double" pose.
if mine, I would increase the exposure and or brightness, lift the shadows a bit and remove the twigs below (if you are OK with cloning)

Thanks to all who commented. I've tried to incorporate your suggestions in this repost, hopefully to some good effect. I confess that I rather liked the blurred foreground bushes and had tried in my 1st processing to remove the blackberry vines without any satisfying success, so in this one I've just removed it all and given the birds complete centre stage..Name: Cathedral wavies pair RP.jpg
