    Allen:

Snow in Memphis? What is the world coming to!

You have captured it well, snow bits, soft light, effective DOF, nice display of feet, modest sized perch.

I might be tempted to try a version with just a bit more contrast. It shows well as is, and does look wintery, but the bird would pop a bit with some subtle contrast enhancements. I have over done it a bit to make the point, but I think there is room for tweaking to remove the slightly veiled look of the original.

    Cheers

    Randy

    WOW! What a stunner!
I do prefer Randy's repost, there's so much punch.
Of course, if for me in real life the bird appeared washed out as in your OP then I'd leave it that way.

    I love your repost Allen.
Love the snow and the head turn. I might be tempted to brighten the image by +5 or so,

Very nice pose, and the snow makes it special. Your repost is a definite improvement.
