A tiger relaxes at Ranthambor reserve, Rajasthan. Two brothers were seen at this spot resting in the grasses late in the morning.

I like this the way the little sunbeam catches his neck and ear, colours look super. He looks like he's just resting but not for a minute does anything escape his attention. I presume there was good reason for chopping his back legs off, I think the crop works but I wonder if the crop came to dip in his back it might improve symmetry.

Yes Jon, there was tree trunk covering the rear so went with this crop. Agree on taking it down to the dip in the back. Thanks appreciate it.

Hi Sanjeev - A nice regal pose. Too bad about the oof grasses coming all the way up to the face but not sure you could get a clear view. The colors look good. I agree with Jon's suggestion on the crop/comp.

A real beauty, Sanjeev. This one jumped out at me as soon as I opened it. I only noticed the OOF grass in front of the head after looking for a bit - so while not ideal, it is not a killer for me. Either way, the grass and foliage create nice framing in this one. Understand about the crop used and certainly worth exploring some other options, as suggested by others. The tiger pops really nicely and a frame I'd be very happy with if mine.

Hi Sanjeev - A beautiful specimen and lovely colours as well. Would have loved to get the tiger in more open settings with , i mean not hindering the face . Also the framing looks a bit awkward but as mentioned above nothing you could have done .

A nice relaxed pose which is always a nice indicator of how happy an animal is with your presence. Crops suggestions worth trying out, and whilst the OOF grasses are unfortunate, they are far enough out that they are not immediately impacting on the shot

But otherwise what a spectacular image!
I am OK with presentation (as far as crop is concerned). The head falls in a good section of the frame.

Hi Sanjeev, like the shot, but I think cropping in from the LHS rather than to the right is better, but not by much in terms of the amount. Think you could go a bit more 'richer' in terms of colour to create that nice 'warmth' from the light.
