    John:

    I like the fine detail, repeating patterns, soft light. Good shooting angle.

    In a perfect world, his head turned towards us a bit more. It is good that his eye is open, as often they close them when preening.

    For personal taste, I would probably trim a bit off the top.

    Hi John, excellent detail throughout, and good DOF on the duck too. I like the colours of the water.

    I'll trade you an American Black Duck for a Gadwall! Lots of fine detail to look at. I agree with taking a bit off above, that would also minimize the white triangle in the ULC
