    Hi joe,
I think the best part of this image is the feather caught on the toe.
Great BG and I like the head turn.
The blacks on the top of the head look a little faded- perhaps add a couple of points of black selectively to this area.
You were a little bit off the sun angle and have lost some detail in the blacks on the edge of the wing. I would try to get a bit more detail if you can.

Perfect head turn, lovely background, and that feather in the talon tops it off. I also wondered about the off-black crest.

Hi Joe, Love the bird's crop! I agree with the underexposure, and reworking the head toupe! Lovely pose, interesting feather on the talon and BG is sweet. TFS

A really good frame from you here Joe, simple but very effective. The little feather by the feet adds an extra layer of interest

Hi Joe, great head turn, and I like the light on the face and eye. Nice clean BG, and I too think the feather on the talon looks cool.

These are great looking birds, and I like the pose this one gave you. Beautiful light and lovely BG.
