Default California Gull - "But I don't WANT to be IT!"

    Attached Images Attached Images

Only had a few minutes to shoot yesterday with the Cali rains, but it was fund trying to keep up with some pesky gulls and a few geese (geese to come)... not sure if these are California Gulls or what - but they sure had lots of energy.
Details: D850 + Sigma 500, HH, 1/3200, 6.3, ISO 2500 (in hindsight - drop ISO to 2000 or less as image was 1 stop over exposed), C1P raw, PS CCC 2018 crop, adjust, NR and SS on output.

    Hi Joel,
I didn't think it rained in Cali?!!
I really like the action you captured and love the grass and yellow flowers on the bottom of the frame. Pity about the fence but not an image killer.
I would clone out the white areas above and to the right of the gulls.
Terrific DOF here and nice and sharp. I would add a small catchlight to the left gulls' eye
    Well done,
    Gail

If this action were placed in a different scene it would be a whole different story. The poses are great and well done even catching this action. Keep em coming
