    I challenged the poor weather over the weekend, and managed to get out and about for a couple of hours. I liked the pose of this BHG(winter plumage) as it looked over towards the frozen loch.

    Boy, those are some pure looking whites! I love the texture of the snow along the ground, and the grasses poking through. Perfect head angle.

    A really nice study of this gull, Will - but next month's theme is Gulls! You are a bit early. The detail is beautiful and whites nicely handled and up to your usual standard.

    Whites are exactly the way I like to see them, White! Nice pose and the snow makes a great FG/BG for this guy. Well done
