    Default Red Bellied Woodpecker

    I found this red bellied woodpecker eating in a palm tree. He was at eye level and very close to me. Unfortunately busy background and shadows on the bird.
    I did some minimal crop and added a little vignette to highlight the bird. I cloned a little twig on top of his head, and resized to 1920px (using the websharpener from Andreas Resch). Minimal contrast correction.
    All comments and critiques are welcomed and encouraged.

    Juan, this image is to large for my 24 inch monitor, IMO there is no need to post this large.
    From what I can see nice details and head angle, the busy BG and shadows across the face are not the best. Better DOF would have held been better also.
