    Photographed at Ding Darling in March right around sunrise as you can see in the catchlight. I really like these little guys. :)

    What a beautiful image Axel!!! love the reflection of the rising sun on the eye and the, almost, white waters. Would love to see the complete reflection of the grebe in the water. Excelent eye contact!

    Very nice !
    Great pose, eye contact, and sharp detail !

    Bird seems a bit dark to me. Maybe just a tad of selective lightening on the bird.

    Love the little wake and the sharpness. And love the COMP as is. Lightening the iris might make it even nicer...
