Joe this is superb! Really impressive, love the colours and pose. Being hypercritical now but if you lowered the luminosity on the lower mandible a tad and say two tads on the whites just before the base of the mandible I reckon it would be tickety boo.
I note a small patch of green on the "shoulder" I guess this is algae? The darkest darks are "dark" but that looks ok to me.

    Joe:

Love the details, curve of the neck, open bill, all good. I think the 1500 pix horizontal dimension looks good. I believe we will gradually get a feel for what is the best compromise size wise for the majority of the people.

    Cheers

Joe, this looks superb. I agree with Jon's comments and think a little play with the lighting as suggested would lift this even further. Image size works very well for me too and really shows this bird off nicely. I like the streaky OOF reflections 'trickling' down the background in this one too.

    Hi Joe,

What a great capture in every respect. Wonderful detail throughout. The blue BG and out of focus plants help her stand out.

Hi Joe, brilliant IQ and detail in this, and the open beak showing the tongue takes this up a few notches. The blue BG works really well. Well captured.
