Very cool capture and details. The open beak adds a lot to it. It could go a bit brighter for my taste, especially the face.

I enjoy a lot your flights Jody, first class!! This one is on the same level of quality. terrific sharpness and very good exposure. The open beak is a big bonus and I would like to see the left wing fully spread. I suggest a different crop with more room at the right and the bottom.

Though I do not like the wing positon or the slight blur to the near wing the sharp face and open bill make this outstanding. Just getting a swallow anywhere in the frame is a great accomplishment.

What were you spot metering and how did you compensate???
