This Image was taken an Bosque Del Apache, NM

I was pretty happy to get this shot with no wing clips/cropping.

I am trying out the new 1920 size limits. I like the image how it looks when resized to 1920 and sharpened appropriately

    Nikon D500, 300mm f/4 + 1.4x TCIII
    ISO 800, f/5.6, 1/1250 sec
    Manual Mode, Matrix Metering

    Un-cropped Image.

    Minimal Post processing
    Removed Morning Yellow Color Cast
Nix 30-30 Filter on the Bird
    NR reduction

I am loving these new larger postings. Agree with Arash that things really come to life now. Bird looks very nice and you have great wing position. In a perfect world I think having that rear wing more elevated would add more interest to the photo. Also I think the head could use a touch more sharpening. But I think we are all going to have a bit of a learning curve with fine tuning the sharpening for the new sizes.

Interesting, considering here at the monitor at work I see a lot of small dots around the head and tail/legs of the bird due to over sharpening. Also on the further wing I see a lot of dots due over sharpening.

I would think is due to the size of the image and the monitor. Since this image is too large and I need to scroll to see it, I'm wondering if I can see more closer details of things than a 4K monitor who can see the whole image. If that make sense ?

Very nice Krishna The image looks good on my 27inch 5k. I agree that a little more sharpening would benefit the image. Lovely flight pose and lighting.

Thank you all. I was worried that it will look over sharpened in different monitors. It will be interesting to know different sharpening amounts used by other folks for 1920 size images

    Krishna,

I like the placement of the crane in the frame. It's nice to get a no-crop, beautifully framed. It looks great to me, but I did have to CTRL - x2 to see it all. I think I'm on dual 24 inch monitors. I'll have to upgrade when I can. I can't see the oversharpening dots. Thanks for sharing this.
