    From Sandy Hook in June. Wave crashing in the BG. I much prefer lying on my belly in the warm sand than in the snow.

    D500, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 2000, 1/500s @ f/7.1 manual.

    That put a smile on my face Bill! pov is what this image is all about. I like the foraging behavior and the bit of shell. I would suggest less bottom sand, and consider removing the black ?grain of sand under the belly. I agree with you, warm wet or dry sand rather than the iceblock...

    Hi Bill, excellent perspective for the monthly theme. I like the feeding behaviour, feather detail, and all framed against a wave/sea BG.

    Great POV Nice pose and detail on the bird. I really like the BG Looks like a crashing wave, very nice.
